to the web site for the US 93: Wickenburg to Santa Maria River Location/Design
Concept Study and Environmental Studies. The purpose of this web site is to provide you
an opportunity to communicate with the ADOT/Jacobs Study
Team as well as to provide
you with information on the study and updates on the study's progress.
The purpose of the US 93: Wickenburg to Santa Maria River Location/Design
Concept Study is to determine the optimum location and design concept for
highway improvements from approximately milepost 120
on US 60, north to approximately milepost
161 on US 93. The 48-mile corridor begins near the US 60/SR 74 junction
in Morristown on US 60 in Maricopa
County, passes through Wickenburg, crosses
into Yavapai County, and extends to just south of
the Santa Maria River.
The site is divided into the following sections:

SR 89
to Wickenburg Interim Bypass |
The
SR 89 to
Wickenburg Interim Bypass section contains information on the study of improvements to the
portion of US 93 from the northern end of the planned Wickenburg Interim
Bypass to the SR 89 junction. |

Interim Improvement Project |
The
Interim
Improvement Project section contains information on a new roadway to be
constructed east of downtown Wickenburg. The roadway, which follows the west
bank of the Hassayampa River, will relieve congestion at the intersection of
Wickenburg Way (US 60) and North Tegner Street (US 93). Project

Wickenburg
(SR 89) to Santa Maria River |
The
Wickenburg (SR 89) to Santa Maria River section contains information on the study of
improvements to the portion of US 93 from the SR 89 junction to the Santa
Maria River. The northern portion of this project area
is designated as the Joshua
Forest Scenic Road. Project

status information are available for the SR 89 to Santa Maria River

Wickenburg Bypass |
The
Wickenburg Bypass section
contains information on the
comprehensive study of potential route corridors
for relocating US 93 around Wickenburg. The Wickenburg
bypass would extend from near the US 93/SR 89 junction to near the US 60/State
Route (SR) 74 junction.
